Purpose
The Purpose of the St. Francis Catholic Church Memorial Fund is to have funds available to purchase extraordinary items for the church and/or altar, such as the Eucharistic Vessels, seasonal Antipenduums, other altar linens and special vestments for the priest. In addition, these funds can be used for other exceptional items needed by the priest for the Sacrifice of the Mass, or for the enhancement of the St. Francis Catholic Church.
Mission
The Mission of the Memorial Committee is to establish a means for people to donate monetary memorials, honoring their loved ones, to St. Francis Catholic Church, knowing that their donation will further enhance the Liturgical/Spiritual needs of the altar and of the St. Francis Church Parish.
Policy and Guidelines
Donations to the Memorial Fund, not specified for a particular project or item, will be honored and utilized, at the discretion of the Memorial Committee with the Parish Priest, while respecting the desires of the donor’s request and the needs of the church.
A thank you note will be sent to those making the donation and an acknowledgement will be sent to the family of the person/persons being memorialized.
Any project completed or item donated, as a Memorial, will not be altered in any way, form or fashion from its original request, form or intent. If a project is in progress, the monies donated to that particular project, or person, should be so noted on the check and utilized for that purpose until the project is completed.
